AusBiotech and Oktopi enter into new Australian ecosystem partnership

14 June 2026

AusBiotech and Oktopi have entered into a new Australian ecosystem partnership designed to provide meaningful benefit to AusBiotech members through discounted access to the Oktopi platform.

Under the agreement, Oktopi will become an AusBiotech Business Solutions Program Partner, expanding the range of specialised solutions and benefits available to members across Australia's life sciences sector.

The AusBiotech Business Solutions Program connects all members with a growing range of service providers offering exclusive discounts, preferential pricing, and tailored solutions designed specifically for biotechnology, medical technology, and health tech organisations.

The Oktopi platform is an AI-informed ecosystem connecting knowledge, workflows, and community to collaborate on medicine development. Through this partnership, AusBiotech members will receive preferential pricing.

AusBiotech CEO, Rebekah Cassidy, said the partnership reflects AusBiotech's ongoing commitment to helping members access tools, expertise, and services that may assist in an increasingly competitive global environment.

"Australia's life sciences sector is built on world-class research, entrepreneurship, innovation, and expertise. Opening doors to help organisations access new tools, knowledge, and capabilities that may accelerate development and commercialisation is critical to maintaining our forward momentum.

"The AusBiotech Business Solutions Program is designed to connect members with providers that seek to service the unique needs of our sector. We are pleased to welcome Oktopi to our growing Program and look forward to supporting our members with access to even more innovative solutions, while delivering meaningful cost savings.”

Comments from Oktopi Co-Founder and CEO, Dr Craig Rayner:

"We are proud to partner with AusBiotech, who are on the front foot in recognising that AI, used responsibly and built on the right infrastructure, can accelerate the whole Australian biotech ecosystem.

“That is what Oktopi is built for: AI-native infrastructure that amplifies expert teams rather than replacing them, so they make sharper decisions and take more medicines closer to patients."
